The impossible list is an idea I got from Thomas Frank. He’s a distinguished Youtuber and podcaster who has been helping high school and college students succeed in every aspect of their lives. Thomas has been a huge inspiration to me because I have learned numerous study and professional techniques which I have been able to utilize in making permanent lifestyle changes.

This list is not a bucket list—something that normally gets buried in the back of my mind with the hopes of one day maybe, just maybe, I could do a unique activity like skydive. Instead, the impossible list demands instantaneous action. Structurally, it is goal oriented, but it is more than just crossing things off. The goals build on each other and call for improvement. My mindset is encapsulated by the importance of always striving for the greater (what is called the Magis in Latin).  By publishing this, my list becomes accountable. Everyone can see the progress, or lack of progress, that I make towards my goals.

“I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor.” ~HDT
